After travelling from Málaga, you will arrive in this historic white town, perched above the breathtaking Tajo de Ronda gorge. Once there, you will have free time to plan your own visit and explore its streets, squares and viewpoints at a relaxed pace.
Admire the iconic Puente Nuevo, stroll through Alameda del Tajo, visit the historic bullring and wander through the old town. You can also sample the local cuisine, browse traditional shops or take in the views across the valley from one of Ronda’s many natural balconies.
If you’d like to discover Ronda from a different perspective, you can add a guided tour to your booking, which includes: Ronda’s historic centre, access to the Tajo Gorge walkways in Ronda, and a wine tasting at a winery. This tour includes visits to Ronda’s most iconic landmarks, such as: the Alameda del Tajo and Paseo de Blas Infante, the Plaza de Toros, the Plaza de España, crossing the Puente Nuevo to the old town and strolling through the narrow streets where the Town Hall and the Church of Santa María la Mayor are located. From there, we’ll descend to the entrance of the Tajo walkway leading into the gorge, which offers spectacular views of the Puente Nuevo, the rocky walls of the gorge and the River Guadalevín, ending in the area of Padre Jesús and the Hermitage of San Miguel, next to the Arab baths. Once there, we’ll walk to the Antigua Bodega La Sangre to rest and enjoy a wine tasting, where you’ll have some free time before meeting up with the guide again and returning to the pick-up point.
